Saudi Arabia’s Roshn launches Eastern Province project

15 March 2023

Public Investment Fund-owned real estate developer Roshn has launched its fourth housing development in Saudi Arabia. Known as Alfulwa, the 10.8 square kilometre project will be built close to Al-Ahsaa in the Eastern Province.

The scheme involves the construction of 18,000 residential units that will house a population of more than 100,000 people when completed.

Roshn announced its second residential community in eastern Riyadh’s Al-Janadriyyah district earlier in March.

The Warefa project will span 1.4 million square metres (sq m) and have 2,000 homes.

That scheme will include integrated amenities such as a district mall, a primary healthcare facility, public and private schools, mosques and 160,000 sq m of public parks and open spaces.
