Dubai Municipality tenders Jebel Ali stormwater network

19 August 2025

Dubai Municipality has issued a request for proposals (RFP) to design, supply, install, test and commission a stormwater network at the Jebel Ali sewage treatment plant, covering phases one and two of the project.

The scope of work includes drainage infrastructure upgrades, pipeline installation and associated civil works to manage rainwater and mitigate flooding in and around the plant.

The contract will run for three years, with separate project milestones scheduled for 2025, 2026 and 2027.

Bidders are required to submit technical and commercial proposals through Dubai Municipality’s e-supply portal by 3 September 2025.

The RFP shared with bidders emphasises that submitted materials and services should be environmentally sustainable.

Bidders must provide company profiles, relevant project references and qualifications for key personnel, including project managers. They must also comply with mandatory bid and performance bond requirements.

The contract will be awarded based on the “best score”, which considers both technical merit and financial offer. Payments will be made within 60 days of acceptance of each completed project phase.

The project may also be split between multiple contractors, Dubai Municipality said.
