Bloom appoints local contractor for Casares package

10 October 2023

UAE-based developer Bloom Holding has selected local firm Emirates Link Maltauro (ELM) as the main contractor for the Casares package, which is phase three of its residential community Bloom Living in Abu Dhabi.

ELM is already working on phases one and two of Bloom Living, referred to as Cordoba and Toledo.

In January, Bloom appointed ELM as the main contractor for Cordoba in a $128m deal that includes the construction of 257 two- and three-bedroom townhouses and three- to six-bedroom detached villas, spanning 150-515 square metres (sq m).

Launched in March 2022, the project is scheduled for completion by December 2024.

In August this year, ELM won the main contract for the Toledo package. The construction works are ongoing and the project is expected to be completed by December 2025.

Toledo comprises 405 units, including two-and three-bedroom townhouses and three- to five-bedroom detached villas.

It also features a community centre, two swimming pools, children’s play areas and landscaped spaces.

Bloom Living is located close to Zayed City, near Abu Dhabi International airport.

The project is composed of more than 4,500 villas, townhouses and apartments, inspired by Mediterranean Spanish architecture, built on an area of 2.2 million sq m.

Bloom Living has been designated an investment zone, allowing buyers of all nationalities to purchase residential units in the development.
